Probably no torch is as well known as the National 3A blowpipe. For decades, this versatile premix hand torch has been the standard for both scientific and artistic glassblowers everywhere. Suitable for a variety of fuels (natural gas, propane, or butane) with oxygen or compressed air ... just select the proper type of tip for the gases used.
The 3A-B is the latest refinement of this classic torch. Please specify whether you wish for barbed hose fittings or threaded hose fittings.
*NOTE* Premix torches are best used on 'hard glass' (borosilicate, or Pyrex), and may burn or reduce the colors in soft glasses.

If you are always going to use your torch on the bench, this bench-only version of the 3A may be a cost effective alternative. This torch combines the same internal design of the 3A with an adjustable cast-iron base, while eliminating the unnecessary handle, saving you over $30 compared to having to buy both the 3A and the TS191 Torch Holder. The 8M is a surface mix burner, designed for those artists working with soft glass, or larger work. The 8M is designed to use one of three interchangable surface mix tips (show above left, sold separately). The tips simply twist on & off, no tools required! Plus, with a simple adaptor (shown above right, sold separately), you can also use all of the premix tips used on the 3A-B! Talk about versatility! This one torch can be used for both hard and soft glass, and on large and small work! The 8M Surface Mix Torch comes equipped with threaded hose fittings.

For the Ultimate in versatility, here is the 8R Rider Torch, which 'piggy backs' on top of the 8M. The 8R is based on the same design as the 3A-B, and uses all of the same tips. This gives you two individually adjustable torches in one!
