Rum Cake
Cake
1 box .......... Yellow Butter Cake Mix
1 small box .... Vanilla Instant Pudding
1/2 cup ........ Water
1/2 cup ........ Oil
1/2 cup ........ Rum
4 ea ............ Eggs
(optional) ..... Chopped Nuts
Instructions
1) Preheat oven to 325° F.
2) Grease and flour Bundt pan
3) Cover bottom of pan with chopped nuts (optional)
4) Combine cake mix and pudding
5) Add rest of ingredents - Mix well
6) Pour into prepared pan
7) Bake at 325° for 1 hour
Glaze
1 stick ......... Butter
1 cup .......... Sugar
1/4 cup ........ Rum
Melt butter in a saucepan. Stir in sugar. Cook over medium heat 2-3 minutes. Stir in Rum. Pour over cake as soon as the cake comes out of the oven. Let stand in the pan for 30 minutes. Remove cake from pan.
